‘Accidents that deserved to stay‘
A piece of wood served as my workspace table in my studio for a year. I would eat and have coffee there while focusing on other tasks, resulting in various food stains, organic marks, drips, and all sorts of usage traces. Instead of discarding the table, I saw these unintended traces of action as inspiration.
I decided to draw instinctively, granting them aesthetic dignity. The result is a random act of kindness toward many small accidents that deserved to remain as humble reminders of those anonymous moments.
